The Same Old Blood Rush; Albums That Made Their Decade Anniversary

Since 2006 we’ve had an insane amount of new bands and music thrust upon our absorbent brain matter. But that year in particular was a milestone for rock albums, and emo music in particular.

We’re not in the slightest bit ashamed to admit that we still value some of these 2006 albums as some of the best ever.

Cute Is What We Aim For made their emo debut, Taking Back Sunday smashed out another roaring classic, Hawthorne Height made everyone weep into their spaghetti hoops, and Brand New screamed out more of their spiteful but beautiful venom.

My Chemical Romance’s ‘The Black Parade’ has even scored itself a modern day tribute cover album to be released this September. Check out the details HERE

So to make us all feel super old, lets have a listen to some classics.

Go on, for old times sake.
